Many watershed managers and designers are faced with the challenge of selecting the appropriate type of stream restoration for their project sites. Three of the most commonly referenced stream design methodologies are Natural Channel Design, Legacy Sediment Removal, and Regenerative Stormwater Conveyance. The presentation will explore the contractor’s perspective on how each of the design methodologies differs in construction methods, site considerations, and the resulting effects on project budgets.
